I’m really excited to add more herbs to pots now that it is finally spring. The rosemary, thyme, parsley, and oregano are troopers from last season and the season before that. Newbies include flat leaf parsley, mint, lemon thyme, more oregano, Thai basil, basil, sage, and I also planted some Japanese eggplant. I don’t usually have much luck with vegetables, but I thought the eggplant would be a fun thing to try since I can’t get it around here anyway.  You just can’t beat fresh herbs! So tasty and sooooo much more economical than buying small fresh packages at the grocery store. The rosemary plant alone has paid for itself over and over and over. The starter plants probably cost about $6-8. I’ve used it on average once a week for about two years now. Each little package at the store costs about $3! Score. Hoping for a healthy tasty crop of new flavors.
