Black Bean Hummus

I’ve been doing lots of wraps lately. I decided to do a different version of hummus so I didn’t get burned out on the traditional stuff. Yum. Great smeared in a wrap or simply served as a dip with bread or chips.

Black Bean Hummus

Ingredients
  • 3 cups black beans drained
  • ¾ cup lime juice
  • 2-3 TB tahini
  • ¼ (small slice) red onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Start with the garlic clove and red onion in the food processor. Whiz until minced. Add other ingredients. Whiz until smooth. (If thinner consistency desired add a few tablespoons of water or lime juice.)
